Cleaning products in Israel
In the spirit of pre-Pesach cleaning, I think this info is useful. If you've shopped in Israeli supermarkets you will have noticed that Sano is the biggest local manufacturer of cleaning products. The actually publish an English-language guide to their products every year before Pesach which gets distributed in English-language newspapers here, but you can find all the same information on their website. It's not the most organized web site, but considering it's available in English I'm not complaining.
Kosher for Pesach Medicine in Israel
Trying to figure out which medications in Israel are Kosher for Passover?
I've updated this post for information as of 2011. Since you're probably reading this in 2012 or later, you should probably look for the latest information.
There are two lists that were published in 2011 for Kosher for Passover medicines in Israel.
The first is a 31 page document published by the Eda Haredit and KosherPharm.co.il. You can view it online here.
The second is a shorter 6-page document published by the Clalit health fund, and viewable online here.
